This week has been a very hectic and a very busy week.
The photographers for the local and national press visited to feature Joe Ellis’ Tea Room Guide within their newspapers and then I had to head off to the South West to meet up with Peter Manning the Chair to the NAKMAS National Technical Committee to discuss reorganisation, who lives just off the A303 in a tiny beautiful place known as Mere, Wiltshire.
Whilst I was down Wiltshire, Peter wanted me to teach children’s and adult classes which I did and I enjoyed it; some very talented karateka in the South West.
Whilst in the South West, I had re-visited Angel Corner Tea Rooms, Wiltshire and a little later ended up in the King Alfred’s Kitchen, in Dorset, having lunch with Peter where I met an incredibly attractive, intelligent and fun lady who supplied free-range chicken eggs to various businesses in the South West. She has over 6,000 chickens and she gave me advice on what constitutes a free-range chicken which was very handy as I am about to restock my chicken hut.
Today I visited Mad Hatters Tea Room and Tea Garden and my review for this appears on the site.
Need to rest and off to a Sunday lunch tomorrow ready for another busy week before the Christmas break.
