After Sandra’s karate class in Canterbury today, I decided to go home and walk the dogs briefly and then make my way to Ramsgate and visit two tea rooms; Corby’s Tea Room and Queen St Tea Room. I thought I have my lunch in Corby’s Tea Room and have my desert and another pot of tea in Queen St Tea Room. Both reviews now appear on the website.
I have known the owner, Pat, of Corby’s Tea Room for a number of years as she was the landlady of the Elephant & Castle in Ramsgate which my father was a regular. I have not particularly got on well with her husband, but after the tea room visit, Pat saw me taking photographs of the front of the tea room and asked if I can come inside and take some more, which I did; I then made my way to Queen St Tea Rooms.
Ramsgate, which is right on the sea front was cold and damp and could not wait to get home and see Sandra, Holly and Rosie.
