NEW YEAR, NEW IDEAS
Sunday 10 January 2010
Christmas and New Year was hectic, both in personal life and business life. It is always manic the first week back to work following the Christmas and New Year holiday break.
Only visited one tea room since Christmas Eve, when I decided at the last minute to drive to Rye and take lunch at Hayden's with Sandra
I have decided to finalise the tea room book early this year. I intend to tour England during the February 2010 half term and visit tea rooms in England over a period of one week. Once completed, I will put all the data together, finalise the manuscript and hand it to the publisher.
I am also writing a martial arts book guide as well, which will outline all the authentic martial arts within the United Kingdom. I hope both books will be released at the same time.
I am also putting the finishing touches to my full colour tea room journal although Sandra feels it is really a newsletter. This is exciting and I have decided to feature all five highly recommended tea rooms in the first issue and other tea related matters. It will be free for those people wishing to receive a copy.
The introduction to a Guestbook on this website, I feel is a good idea. A member of the public felt strongly enough to write a posting and disagree with me. I wish everyone would write, good or bad, a generate a debate or two!
This month sees Sandra commencing her studies again at the Sheffield Hallam University – a Doctor in Education degree, specialising in autism in sport and physical recreation.
My father is getting really very ill and the whole situation is extremely emotional for me. Seeing dad so ill and taking him to hospital, almost on a daily basis, is so very upsetting. The situation is made much worse, due to love of my dad. Illness is a very terrible thing and brings much sadness into my life right now.
Now ready for another week of hard work – will defiantly be visiting a tea room or two this week.
