MOVING ON

Well, my father’s funeral is now over and hopefully we can get on with life and leave all the emotional pain behind us.

Life over the past few weeks have been very difficult due to my father’s illness and preparing for the worst.

Father always wanted to have a horse and cart funeral leaving from his house in Ramsgate. His wishes came true, as mum and I organized white horses, white cart and white coffin. The sun was shining down on Friday 5th March 2010 in Thanet and some photographs will be posted onto my father’s website at www.ricky-ellis.org.uk soon.

Although the tea room website has, of late, not been updated as much I would have liked, I have launched Time For Tea magazine and also getting closer to having my tea room guide book published.

I have recently, with my mother, visited two tea rooms, one in Herne Bay and the other in Birchington-on-Sea. I am also hoping to visit a tea room or two in London on Monday 8th March 2010 as I am on a meeting and will try and squeeze a couple in if at all possible.
