CHRISTMAS WEEK

A rather cold but calming week, due to time off work and ready for the Christmas break with Sandra, Holly and Rosie; maybe a visit to the in-laws later this week will put things into perspective!

My father is extremely ill, and having taken him to the hospital most of this week with my mother, I treated them for a day out.

We had a lovely day out; having had an early lunch at Pipa’s Tea Room in Lenham and then tea, tea cakes and scones at Miss Mollett’s High Class Tea Room in Appledore. We then finished off the day by having dinner in a Chinese restaurant in Canterbury, eat as much as you like menu.

Today was a final visit to Canterbury on my own to buy a last minute birthday present, or several in fact, for my father-in-law.

Wanted lunch at Tiny Tim’s Tea Rooms Canterbury, but it was closed and decided to have lunch at the Sun Hotel & Tea Rooms in Canterbury; glad I did!

Back home and preparing for my 49th birthday on Boxing Day….another year older!
